    Hi,

Well, it’s a very tough operation. First of all, it’s a camera model FCP doesn’t support. And even if it was supported you had to connect it using a firewire or thunderbolt cable, it won’t work with a USB cable. You have to convert it from mini DV to Thunderbolt and Thunderbolt to USBC via several adapters. You may try OBS Studio with these converters. Another option might be using a capture card. You can look for a capture card that supports your cables. However, I believe the easiest method is to find an old Mac and capture it with that. It might be cheaper than buying all these adapters.

  • Because that’s one of the options you can use in that section of the interface. You can activate Rename for instance when you add a shape in that section. It would probably need another level of coding to show only usable options when you click somewhere on the interface and that might make the program slower to perform. So they show all the options belonging to that section and you can see it activated when there is a viable option.

  • Hi,

I don’t know if there is another explanation, but that title changes when you change the text on Canvas and it automatically changes to what you type.

    Hi,

After mid 2014 iMacs it has been hard to use old iMacs as a second display. With an extra cost, you can use it. You can try Luna Display, https://astropad.com/product/lunadisplay/, or Duet, https://www.duetdisplay.com/. I think Luna will work better as it has a hardware setup. You can try a trial version of Duet to check the speed. I had some speed problems before with Duet Air and canceled it. Good luck.

The Vimeo starter plan might work then, it gives you 100GB of space. The client can write notes on the video, you can share it publicly or password-protected. You can share it with multiple people.

Well, I didn’t use it, but as I can see, krock.io seems like a good option.

    Hi,

What is your most important need when using frame.io? Some people use Vimeo, some upload to YouTube, and some use OneDrive, Google Drive, Note Tracks, and Krock. Which feature of Frameio can you sacrifice?

If you have access to Premiere Pro, maybe a trial version of it. It also transcribes audio to text inside the box. Supports German and English as far as I know. And maybe Rask AI could be an option.
