My cards show up as normal. All PC cards.

Have you installed the latest Nvidia driver from their website?

March 28, 2012 at 8:58 am in reply to: REDcolor3?

If you really want to use redgamma 3 the best way to do it is set your red settings to RedLog Film and use a RedLogFilm to RedGamma3 LUT.

You can download some cool ones from here :

    https://antlerpost.com/Store.html

I always use RedLogFilm for grading, but It’s just a personal preference.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi Guys,

Just testing out my system :

    12 Core Mac Pro
    3×580’s

    V1 2 nodes : 24 fps
    V2 4 nodes : 24 fps
    V3 6 nodes : 24 fps
    V4 12 nodes : 24 fps
    V5 NR 4 : 24 fps
    V6 NR 3 : 24 fps
    V7 NR 2 : 24 fps
    V8 NR 1 : 12 fps

As Rohit said previously also you can get 4 nodes of noise reduction at NR 4 too.

I’m a happy dan with my new system!

March 23, 2012 at 10:09 am in reply to: DaVinci grading suite in London with DCI projection

    Hey Toby,

I don’t think any of the DCI suites in London are available for dry hire. I had to rent a room here

    https://www.firmdale.com/london/covent-garden-hotel/covent-garden-screening-room/technical-specifications-rates

Not ideal for you but I hope it helps.

I was lucky that a good friend of mine was lugging the equipment around while I arrived empty handed 🙂

Alternatively you can use LUTs to emulate a DCI environment and it works quite well but thats totally your choice!

    Hope this helps.

Make sure you don’t have your monitor plugged into the GTX card also.

    Hey Jon,

Have you made sure to have the Rec709 output transform on when grading?

It should all flow nicely for you then.

    Hope this helps!

January 17, 2012 at 10:18 pm in reply to: Adding clip to revival

    Hi Tom,

This feature allows you to send clips to revival for processing if you also have a revival system in your facility.

You can find more information about Revival here : https://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/davincirevival/models/

    I hope this helps.
