    I’ve never encountered any driver conflicts when installing newer versions over top of previous instances. You can only have one version resident, though.

    Two things to consider :

    1. You might want to use Media Express. If there is a newer one than the drivers Resolver brings, you need to reinstall that.

    2. If you want to keep the old version, just rename it.
    I always keep at least one for safety reasons.
