nice, but due to the blanks it seems that the link doesn’t work?

March 21, 2012 at 6:37 pmHi.
I have 4000 as gui gpu and 470 as resolve gpu and i get something like this:
V1 2 nodes : 24 fps
V2 4 nodes : 24 fps
V3 6 nodes : 22 fps
V4 12 nodes : 12 fps
V5 NR 4 : 24 fps
V6 NR 4 : 19 fps
V7 NR 4 : 9 fps
V8 NR 4 : 2 fpsI tested on 10.7.3 and with 6 gig ram. Mac Pro 5,1 dual 6 core @ 2.93 ghz.
Sasha got a bit better results but i think it is something to do with my ram being only 6 gigs.
Generally my system is the same he does but he got a bit better results. You probably should change those 4000 as they are not as fast as one would think.
You probably have seen here daily about 5xx series and probably 6xx series gpu’s.—

March 21, 2012 at 7:23 pmDon’t be sorry Sascha, those numbers are just THE good reason to get the 3x gtx680 next friday !!
From what I can see from previous post, there is not much difference between a double and a triple quadro 4000 setup… I knew our setup wasn’t that powerful but I thought the third 4000 was making a bigger difference.
No particular problem running those flashed 470 card?
Also, with the recent break in nvidia support (10.7.4 beta update), would you buy a pc gtx580 or 680 anyway or you would stick with flashed cards?Benoit Cote

March 22, 2012 at 2:02 amId like to run this on my windows box with 3 gtx 580’s and a quadro 4000, but i can’t get it to import into resolve.
Gives me the error “failed to open archive!”
Is it not possible to open mac resolve projects on a windows resolve box?
Thanks
