Put the CTI on the frame, select export in the File menu, then Media, then select the Format from the Format dropdown menu, then select the Preset from the Preset dropdown menu, then click on output Name, name it and where you want to put it.

What are your project settings? where are you seeing the small image? is it in the program monitor? If you have a 720×480 project setting, and you are seeing the small image in the program monitor is the little box at the bottom have “fit” checked?

January 8, 2010 at 7:32 pm in reply to: using a TV as output window

Using in computer overlay is ok for composition and general layout and workflow preview, but to do stuff like color correcting and matching you need to use a external video display, using a video output like a BlackMagic intensity or a Matrox MX02mini and a tv monitor that can take a decent calibration, and has full resolution, you can get 1080P in 22″ and up.

[Aaron O’Neil] “I’m not sure it could be called a video problem”

video as in computer display video, CS3 is not the latest set of apps on the block and sometimes newer display drivers may not have a backwards compatibility for certain calls, ATI has been famous for this in the past.

sounds like something polling the system at regular intervals like a TSR maybe a network driver or printer driver.

I’ve had CS3 working on Vista HP 64 with no real problems, sounds like a video problem, try playing with the video driver versions, if not the latest, try updating, if the latest or recent you can also try rolling back to older versions.

[Remington Markham] “I was looking in to AVCHD conversion programs.”
Depends on what you want to convert for? effects, color grading/correction, or do you want to just do cutting and assembly for uses like iPlops, or web?
