thanks for the info. As far as the pdf goes I wasn’t trying to import into vegas, I was trying to open the vegas help doc ( manual) it would open with vegas open but when closeing vegas would freeze up.

I use 12 with no issues. Editing hdv, mixed with avchd and quicktime animation codec. Many tracks compositing. I believe 11 had issues but I have none with 12. I just don’t use gpu. I believe that is where most problems occur.

I mix 1920 and 1080 footage all the time in vegas. They are the same aspect ratio. No need to crop

Interesting. I use an HDR FX1 with Vegas Pro 12 all the time. ( and I have used 10 pro as well). I don’t recall ever having this issue.

It could be a bug.
It does sound like it has the same symptoms of a feedback loop set up in your mixer or plug in though.
