    Hi
Just curious, I noticed when I reopened a vegas project some of the keyframes were pink. I don’t recall if it was track motion or event crop or plug in related, just curious.
    2) Is there a way to batch render Vegas projects?
    3) any one have the issue with vegas freezing when opening the PDF manual? Actually it opens fine it’s closing it.
    Thanks
    Brad

Pink KFs means that you have selected one of the interpolation effects: SHARP, SMOOTH, LINEAR. PINK = SHARP

    Yes:-

Vegas Main Toolbar > Tools > Scripting > Batch Render.

I’ve got Johnny Rofrano’s Render Assistant and it has a whole load of easy to use render management tools. Check it out. And it is very affordable.

PDF isn’t a supported Format. You’re going to need to convert it to one of the RASTER graphics formats Vegas supports. Truly, I’m actually amazed you got that far! I need to go to import “Show ALL Files ” before I can even reveal a PDF in the Import Menu.

Solution: When I’ve needed to do this I have to go via my Graphics package to convert to either PNG or PSD. Then it does work and work very well on the Vegas Timeline. Sometimes I’ve needed to do this to illustrate some of the achievements that my client had won.

    Cheers

thanks for the info. As far as the pdf goes I wasn’t trying to import into vegas, I was trying to open the vegas help doc ( manual) it would open with vegas open but when closeing vegas would freeze up.
    thanks again

No, dont have an issue when opening or closing the pdf.
There is a Batch Render Script that comes with Vegas, but
i have never used it. You can try it out and see.

Ah! VP PDF has done this on me before now. I had to resort to tracking it down and copying it to the Desktop and opening it form there. Fortunately that behaviour has long since gone, thank goodness.
