There is no audio problem if you are playing the audio from the same firewire source, most people listen to the audio on their computer and monitor the video externally, this creats a time difference.

So what parts are you interested in? FX, acting, direction, size of budget? try comparing “Lord of the Rings” to a low budget flick like “El Mariachi”, whats the hollywood look in one compared to the hollywood look in the other.

Photographers own the reproduction rights to their images, including wedding photos, there have been lawsuits over this before and the Phototog has never lost, like Vincent said, contact the Photographer in question for permission, you may have to pay a fee as most wedding photographers I’ve worked with recently do their own photo montages on CD and DVD.

Do a search for Time/Date code or other such, there has been threads in the past about a plug-in for Premiere to display this, I don’t remember right off hand if it was for Pro or earlier versions.

Most Video file transfer between cams and computers is done by firewire(IEEE1394, iLink), USB is usually used for image and streaming video(mpeg) recordered on it memory chip card. -
Rendering is basically CPU horsepower, Usually if the drive is good enough to capture with, there is no problem rendering, At least 2 drives, primary drive for the OS and APPs and at least one other drive for video files, a third drive is recomended for Premiere, for preview files, sound clips, cache for DVD construction, and other misc files.
