[Hedpuk] “What version of boris do you think had it in, i have a copy of one of them some where.”
It didn’t come with the program, but was made with it, talking to a friend(owns a mac) he said he got one from the internet while he was in the UK.
BACC(his defination of the acronym suppressed) -
What kind of raid 1 or 5? Is the array run from a controller card or a controller set on the MoBo, or a software array in windows with either the first two its usually done in the controller card’s bios or the MoBo’s and windows sees it as a storage unit you just partition and format.

[Hedpuk] “BACC”
You are in the UK, I think time standard when Broadcast Clock or a program flow pie chart, I’ve seen something like you are refering to, but they were a template made in a program like AFX or Boris, have you tried a net search?

To make sure you have continous time code when you stop, start, turn off, unload/reload tape, is to overshoot each clip by a few seconds, then monitor the tape TC when you turn the cam on or continue the shoot, if it says “0” go into the VCR mode and position the tape a slight bit into the previous clip, TC in consumer DV cams always starts at “0” if there is a break or uses the TC from the last read frame before new recording.
A way to get continous TC from the fragmented tapes is to a dub to another camcorder and make a copy, it will have continous TC. -
Its called an “Acadamy Leader”, if using Ppro 2, the instructions are on P186 of your manual, Its in the index as “Leader, Counting”, same in earlier ver of Ppro.

Audition has better noise reduction tools, have you tried to use the parameteric equalizer in premieres audio effects to reduce specific frequencies bands, low and high pass filters?

To convert to AVI you can use a video screen capture tool like “Camtasia”, or there are some software converters available, just do a net search for “powerpoint to AVI”, there have been other threads on this subject, you can use the forums search tool to find them.

They should at least have a player version equal to or more than the version used to encode then they are ensured to have the proper stuff to decode.

[Skeeter] “I’ve been exporting all sorts of things for weeks/months w/o problem. Now for some reason my PPro2 started crashing every time I started an export a particular (final/locked) sequence.”
I render and export locked all the time with no problems, when Premiere(all adobe products for the most part) starts to act wonky try rebuilding the Preferences file or with Ppro the Plugin Cache File, second is to reduce the ammount of old project files, all the project files are read at startup whether used or not, or something may have been corrupted in the system.
