January 24, 2014 at 2:35 am in reply to: Option + up and down arrow doesn’t move clips up or down a layer in the timeline like FCP. How can I do this in PP?Did you go into your keyboard short cuts and assign them to do it? Look for Nudge Clip Up/Down and assign it. The Premiere Pro Default keyboard in CC seems to have it so check to see if you are running custom keyboard layout.

January 10, 2014 at 5:44 pm in reply to: PremierePro CC – all preview files lost after Project ManagementDid you check include preview files when you project managed your final rendered sequence? It should grab the previews you created and put them in your final project managed folder. Just did a quick test and the preview files show up in the project managed version and in the newly created sequence (render is all green)

Hi Dylan…. happy to help out.
Are you on CC or CS6?
Can you do a small test and queue some exports in AME, then save Premiere and close. Then start your AME queue and see if it stalls on the 3rd export now.
If you are on the latest build of CC, are you enabling the renderer in AME for Open CL, Mercury Playback or software only?
Do you have latest Cuda driver if you are using Cuda Card?
Are you adding multiple export presets to one exported sequence in AME or exporting multiple sequences to AME with single export presets?

Lots of extra info needed to trouble shoot this.
Are you exporting to local raid? SAN? External FW drive?
Are you closing premiere after sending your exports to the queue?
What kind of export was it? QT, MPEG2, H.264?
What kind of box are your running? OSX or Windows?
Is the third clip anything special over the other clips?
Is the third clip corrupt by chance?AME can be finicky at times, but most of the time a simple reboot before exporting will clear up these issues. Especially if you are going to leave multiple things in a queue before leaving work for the weekend.
Send back some more details and I’ll see what I can help out with.

Heard though other channels. It’s being looked into. Hopefully a future version of CC will come with transcoding options.

With FCP 7 shortcuts selected, arrows go to in/out of clips. If you hit Shift i, or Shift o. then it goes to marked ins, outs in the sequence, or in source monitor if highlighted. I have no tracks selected.

Watch this video (https://www.vidmuze.com/how-to-enable-gpu-cuda-in-adobe-cs6-for-mac/ )and hack the GPU list to make it available in CS 6. As with all types of modifications like this, you run the risk of other problems and do so at your own risk.
Still not sure why it is not showing up in PPro CC if the card is actually on Adobe’s certified list.

Is your playback resolution set to full on the PGM monitor? What type of footage / Codec? Are you using external drive for playback or internal?

Sorry, you are correct. I did not have my iMac next to me to check and just looked at my MBP thinking the Nvidia option was the same. I had stuttering on my MBP until I unchecked it. Have you repaired permissions? I know it’s brand new and you have only installed PP, but just a chance something got wonky on the install.
