I have been running 2 QNAP’s in 2 different locations Bob set up over 3 years ago and they just work. Bob went over all the equipment needed to configure the QNAP’s properly before purchasing and remote’d in to set them up in each location once everything was purchased and plugged in.

Yes you can, but it’s not exactly that simple. On a Mac go into your documents folder/ Adobe/ Premiere Pro / 14.0 / Profile / Layout folder. In there you will find all your custom and default workspace.xml files. Since Adobe will not rename these files according to your personal naming convention i.e (dual window layout or Olivers custom layout) you have to copy them all to the new computer and paste them in the same profile / layout folder.
If you want to take the time to dig into the xml files, go into the workspace folder and open them up in Text edit and do a keyword search for the name you called your custom workspace.
Or if you can save the current favorites and search by todays date and only copy the changed ones.
I filed a feature request for this change a long time ago as it seems crazy that the naming conventions don’t match and you only get a default UserWorkspace_Number.xml and have to hunt and peck to find your custom workspace.
Sure would be great if Cloud syncing of your Preferences and custom layouts would just sync with what ever computer you are using and bring these custom workspace layouts to the new computer.

1) What exact version of Premiere you are using.
2) What operating system and hardware you are using.
3) What storage are you using.Mobile phone footage can be some of the most frustrating footage to use in Premiere due to its variable frame rate. Have you tried converting the footage in Media Encoder to another format (ProRes for example) and seeing you don’t have the playback issues?

Glad it’s working again! A couple of AJA firmware and software updates ago, this happened to a couple of our edit suites still using the iO4K boxes. Drove me batty wondering why this was happening when I thought the settings were not changed. It’s not like AJA said at the time, “we changed how audio works,” but I was guilty of not reading the update new features notes since their updates are pretty rock solid. Premiere would play audio just fine after the update for a day or so and then the editors would call stating their audio was no longer working. Checking that box got them back on track.

Hi David,
Did you check the Audio mixer settings in the AJA control panel and check the box for Main App and Host Audio. If those are not checked, I have audio not pass through properly.

Have you tried double clicking anywhere in the PGM monitor when the wireframe is not active? This will activate the wireframe and actually open up your effects control motion tab turning them back on. In your example pics if you double click on the PGM monitor where the women is on the wall, it should activate the wireframe for her clip and you can adjust the anchor point.

You might also check your sequence settings since it came from an old project.
