Hi,
Sorry it didn’t work out.
– doing a “save as” forces FC to “re-think” all the metadata or file size,-type etc in a project. If you view the quicktime film you exported, is the transition correct? or is it in the m2v compression the error appears?
Work around might be to do a edit to tape and get your master into FC – then do an export.
However I -
Hi,
Try deleting your render files – do a save as and re-render.
And what is your compression workflow?
– Export to Compressor from Final Cut?
– Export to Quicktime self-contained – and then Compressor.
or – Export to Quicktime reference – and then compressor?Cheers,

Hi, Ben
Sorry I led you in the wrong direction, did not now the limitation, I only work SD.
However you can try Picture Resize Genius if you have a windows based box:
https://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Graphics_Editors/Picture_Resize_Genius_Download.html
It can export full HD 16:9If you prefer mac; google “image resize free mac” and you will find a few free and a some free to try.
Good Luck!
Nice if you posts back if you find a good one;-)Andreas

Hi, Ive been trying to figure out a way to export stills with proper aspect ratios, however I rejected that It wasn’t possible in FC. but haven’t gotten around to figure it out. But If its impossible, why not use iResize?
simple and can batch export.

Hi,
I know it works in v5.1.2 thoug…
Try this; open log and capture, drag your clip from the bin into the log and capture window; make your changes, and hit F2.
Keep in mind that this makes dupes of your clips so its nice to move all the clips you want to change to a bin called “old” before you start, or set logging bin to a bin called “new”.If its many clips and you have forgotten the same in every clip I would consider exporting to XML – open the file with Excell, change the setting, and import again.
If you wonder how your proper settings should be in exsell; log a correct clip and export that to xml as an referance…Cheers,

March 23, 2007 at 7:01 am in reply to: Is there a way to highlight a clip without clicking with the mouse?Hi All,
I vote for the bikini models, however I don’t think I would get much work done that way…
Thank you for all your good answers, option A and up down arrows is my future.
Ive tried a tablet Walter, and for some features its great, but not always; so i switch sometimes, and then it will be great to have the “X, option-A” alternative. Thanks Again, Ive been missing this feature.
Best regards Andreas

Hi,
Since you have audio, Id try some basics:
try “view – external video – and see if “all frames” are on.
– or a little “refresh A/V devices”Andreas
