Outputting problem
I have a DSR-40 connected to FCP 5.1.4.
I am unable to print video to tape, but for some reason audio goes on the tape.
It is a brand new tape. I trashed preferences but still now video.Thanks

Hi splogcooper,
Most of the video camcorders and desks got a set-up that prevents to print to video. You must set DV EE OUT to OFF. I don’t know if this is your case, but this set-up drive mad many people.

Since you have audio, Id try some basics:
try “view – external video – and see if “all frames” are on.
