The 5D saves video using the h.264 codec and h.264 is NOT a editing codec. You need to convert it first.
As for your time line settings HDTV is not a video codec so I’m not sure where that is coming from.
You want your time line settings to match the codec you are editing.

Well if you have set up your project properly with all your media kept on an external drive (this is for proformance reasons). Then all you should really have to do is copy the project file from the system drive and then connect your media drive to the new computer.
If you don’t have your project set up like this then like has been said use media manager to copy your project to an external and then connect that to the new computer.

What settings did you use when exporting the video from keynote?

Video files from iPhone are h.264 and h.264 is NOT an editing codec.
You need to convert to a proper editing codec before bringing the files into FCP.

Did you record HDV or DV with that camera?
is the camera set to output HDV or DV?
Is FCP set to receive a HDV or DV signal?All of those things must match.

Use compressor or QuickTime Pro.

Scale the video up and crop it.

Don’t use mp3 files in FCP they are to highly compressed.
Convert to AAC or WAV.
