thanks Gray, i think i’
m beginning to figure it out.. the master track appears to be its own animal…\\so, i snipped out the dead spots like you said and inserted black from media generator and put that in the master track…. so it fades to and from black now.
BTW… when i render this out, do i just render the master track and all audio???
-
OK… if i go into the CTRL/Shift A and remove a block, i can get rid of dead space…
but is this the best way, and then what is the best way to fade up from black between selections that are trimmed… the master track seems to have a bearing on this and i want to make sure i have the concept or procedure down
or… am i on the wrong track completely by trying to do multiple “dances”…. is the program meant to deal with only single program events (like one dance selection – but not the entire act 1 ??

June 8, 2006 at 2:28 pm in reply to: sync tracks for multi cam question (excalibur) no tally indicator???Gary, yes, 1 name the tracks 2. apply sync points ( 1s 2s )
3. goto excalibur and apply sync.
No PIP with tracked labeled (pip but no 1,2,3,4) and no tally marker after switching with the cam numbers on the tool bar
i even reloaded only ist half of program and figured i would do one at a time. ( 4 – 4 gig clips)
same results
i loaded 2 clips from a wedding and did the same thing and i get each the PIP with 1,2,3,4 and tally on the active track
with the other project, i get a PIP with nothing labled….. very strange…
