Premiere supports Resolve 8.2 beta 4 XMLs pretty nicely, and then roundtrips to After Effects even more nicely. Would that be an option?

Also remember, during playback, your computer is reading video, processing the image, and that’s it.
During render, it also has to compress, and write frames to disk, so, depending on drives and CPU bottlenecking, framerate WILL drop compared to playback.

You can set start time code while importing the XML, but not after as far as I know.
Also, as to why it shifted – can’t say for sure, but I know Resolve will ignore any empty space before your first clip. So if your first media clip was at :41:16 that could be a reason for that.

Theoretically, this is what Unmix is for. From the manual:
“Unmix is essentially the same as the Clip mode, however no effects such as dissolves
or speed changes will be displayed.”But I tried it, and in Unmix the clip still plays back at the speed in the conform timeline.
I would personally love for Resolve to get even simple frame blending, so I can just bake in speed ramps on render and not rely on FCP to do it.

Running Windows 7, with Resolve 8.2 beta 3.
I don’t have a benchmark to back that up though. I’ll try the blur node and nr node comparison test as soon as I have a chance.

Yep, same thing happened to me.
I gotta say, my 470 on the mac is slower still than the same 470 running in Windows on the same mac.
