Why not try by simply dragging the audio plug-in from the plug-in
    manager to the audio track?

You should install vegas in its default directory (along-side vegas 7)
…That is why you have that problem.

You can easily select the media generator…then a color gradient,
add it to your timeline..then use the track motion to resize to your
liking,(long rectangle..etc), configure or even keyframe it to give it some motion.

Wonder what its gonna take for avchd to run smoothly through-out
the editing process. A helpful little software is available
to help with its ease(vasst),strangely enough its the only little help
that seems to be out there that tries to make folks editing avchd, life
    a little easier.

June 14, 2008 at 4:50 am in reply to: Sony Vegas Pro vs. AE (After Effects)

There’s no need to be scared of after effects. A compositing tool as after effects, combustion or fusion is a must have in the world of digital media. After effects and sony vegas are two completely different applications…though you can do great compositing and
    motion graphics in vegas itself.
Hey Thomas, you are the boss of your software..Let it
    be scared of your creativity….LOL.

There is no speed difference between version 4 ans 4.5 Zack.
So just having version 4.5 installed is adequate until version 5 is here. And when rendering projects for architect..use mpeg2 with
the “DVD Architect ntsc video stream” template and render your audio separately, doing this moves your burning process a little bit faster.
Thats just the basics for start.
