When you are working with high resolution images
for editing in vegas, Just reduce their size in
your image editing software first.

Actually instead of uninstall and reinstall you can just
initiate the “maintenance wizard” by going to this folder:
C:/Program Files/Sony Setup/Vegas Pro 8.0 and select
vegas80_enu and follow the instruction…

Then try re-importing your DVD to the timeline.

I did not say for you to use trimmer…..you just need to
de-select the “shoe video monitor” icon in the trimmer window or then
you can toggle to use the use of each.

Its not a glitch Rick….Just check your trimmer window.
There are added preview buttons there, toggle
until you see find your solution.

Indeed, Rick has recommended to you a good solution.
Neat video is nothing short of a miracle in what it does,
and no other software out there comes even close.
Its my De-noising gem…..The only con,is that it renders
a bit slow, but the wait is more than worth it. Therefore
the best method is to apply this filter without any other
fx to your clip and also before you begin editing it.
