Insanely slow render times
I am using a HP xw8600 64 bit Workstation, 8 gigs of ram, duel quad core processors. I took a high resolution picture, added some keyframes to it for movement, and rendered it in 1080i MPEG2 format. The whole animation is less than 6 seconds long. It took over 45 minutes to render! What am I doing wrong. Why is it taking so long to render!?

When you are working with high resolution images
for editing in vegas, Just reduce their size in
your image editing software first.You can have a look in this previous thread for further explanation:
