You don’t necessarily have a specific video effect that does all of that…All that you have revealed here can be done manually in vegas
using Vegas’s 3D track motion with a couple video layers as Parent
and child compositing mode and a little patience…..LOL(sounds
complicated doesn’t it)

Guys, why the long faces, You are not loosing anything still using
Vegas 8 or Vegas 9 whenever 10 comes out…..Its only editing, and yes each version has new features and for some editors the new features are hardly even used.

Whichever version of vegas you are using its still current…Its the editing results and creativity that counts.

That is what will happen if you do it that way. its normal for that
to happen. What you then need to do is simply import the clips you want to use into vegas an drop them on the timeline and do your editing
or manual replacement.

That is indeed quite weird….Is it the latest version of Vegas
you are using (9.0e) ? If not download and install it, But it seems
maybe your files are corrupt…run the check disk utility and restart
your computer.

simply try doing bit by bit changes in the quicktime preferences, and see
if things improve…dont have the time now to go in great details….but toggle
around with the varied options there.

Are you using the last version of Vegas 8?.
If not, download and install the last update and see
if they are working. Also make sure your sound card is configured
properly.

Try and use the parent/child feature of vegas to help
with your composition in this area and see if it helps.

You probably have to read up a bit with some trial and
error approaches to really master this unique feature in
compositing.

Seems to be a codec problem with raylight itself…Raylight is
a bit funny because you always have to download there latest version
for it to continue working properly…i personally hate that.
