Export the AVI with one track, then export each individual audio track as a wav file.

Just a guess based on previous experience….

The last new version came out a while after the new version of Photoshop. So maybe history will repeat itself. If that is the case, then you can guess about the same amount of time, perhaps? Who knows?

When you export out of After Effects, use the same codec you are using in Premiere Pro. That way no rendering will be required in Premiere Pro.

I use the Microsoft DV codec. Some people would use the Canopus codec, for example. And when I create a project in After Effects set for 720X480 using a Pixel Aspect Ratio (PAR) of 1.2, it comes out widescreen. Then when exported, and imported into a widescreen project in Premiere Pro, I don’t have to render.

I believe that the only difference between a file captured with a Mac, and one captured with a PC is the header information. The data from the tape itself must, by definition, be identical.

There are conversion programs, I believe, that can change out the header info for you. So no rendering.

Sounds like a problem with your hardware. Have you tested your memory?

Which problem? People leave their cameras attached and forget to set the audio to play on the audio hardware instead of the DV Hardware. But I don’t know of any bugs.

Adobe does not allow “industry speak” by it’s beta testers, so nobody who knows anything can say anything, and those who say, by definition, really can’t know.
