Try creating a new project and import the old one into the new one. Then try exporting again.

Stick to editing in the 1080 50i Premiere timeline. There is nothing like Cineform.

As you have discovered, Premiere Pro won’t really allow you to map the Tab key that way. It looks like it does but then nothing happens. Find a different key combo or use the default.

Well, Adobe people have said it will be happening. They just never said when. Some people are hoping for an announcement at NAB this week. I will believe it when I see it.

I am still using Windows XP (32) and everything works. I suggest that you stay that way as long as you can, but eventually, Vista will be all that is available. Maybe by then all the drivers will have caught up.

Personally I export a DV AVI and use Quicktime Pro to convert it.
I suggest that you try exporting Windows Media at the highest data rate you can (within reason) and still fit in under the rules.

Start by normalizing the audio. That might do it the fastest and easiest.

It is perfectly safe to shoot HDV and edit HDV using Premiere Pro CS3. Your capturing is a little odd, since there is no scene detection and you can’t see the viseo on the PC as you capture. I recommend using a free program “HDVSplit” to capture unless you capture manually. Never capture over a stop/start point.
It works, but there are ways to make it work better. Like using Cineform Aspect HD. Either way, just make sure you have a fast PC.
