BTW, these files were shot on Panasonic AF100. They played fine previously and I was editing/rendering them. Not sure what happened just today other than the updates from Adobe.

Yeah, that was my dilemma. I just bought RX a few minutes ago to use the combo of that with the Sound Forge package. Just a better overall set of tools for what I need.

I’m not sure about Platinum. In Pro you just grab the left edge of the window, the side with the dots, to undock, then drag wherever you want it. Under the View menu you can save your layout configurations for easy call up later. Again, this in Pro, not sure about Platinum.

Have you tried RAM previews? Shift-B to generate RAM preview of your loop selection.

Just reinstall the software from your DVD. Would be much easier.
