    Spend the money and get ShotPut Pro. Finder copy is very unreliable especially on an old system like yours.

    Upgrade your computer and OS in order to use the latest software.

  • If the colorist is using Resolve, all they need is a self-contained ProRes file. Resolve can do a scene detection on the file.

    If you have a legit copy of FCP 6, the codec is included. Try reinstalling FCP 6.

    ProRes LT was introduced in FCP 7. Impossible to set a ProRes LT sequence in FCP 6. Only ProRes and ProRes HQ are supported.

  • Go to your System Preferences/Energy Saver/

    Computer Sleep: Set to Never

    Display Sleep: 30 min. to 1 HR.

    Make sure “Put the hard disk(s) to sleep when possible” is UNCHECKED.
