    Hi there

    I have a sony DCR-SD1000E footage which gives a mov file with mpeg 2 codec, that is not directly editable in final cut exprses. How can i import it in final cut express or how can i convert it in to a editable formate. pls name the converter & from where it can be easily & free downloaded.

    You need to convert it to Apple Intermediate codec.
