Yes, I’ve tried that but only blank frames show up. When I use a .mov file it will calculate all of the frames, but for some reason it’s not recognizing any kind of image sequence…

Thanks Brian. I’ve done a few more test as well and came to the same conclusion. I got a pretty decent render with QMC and set the sample count at a very high rate, but it definitely took quite a few hours. Here’s an example of what I came up with:

Good point. It is on a white background, so I contracted the alpha just a bit and got pretty good results. Thanks for your help!

I have Best AA settings on and increased the Max setting to 16×16. The result was that the white line rendered very smoothly, but the line is still there. Is there a way to eliminate the outline completely?

Yes, The Monkey- a great video, lots of helpful info.

I agree, without Xpresso is probably the best way to go for something like this. I’m only trying to expand on my Xpresso knowledge, but I suppose in some cases it can complicate a simple task such as this.
