I’m having trouble importing a .tiff sequence to be used as a video screen in a model. I import the material, go to animation tab, then calculate, but nothing happens.

I’ve done this before without an issue, but maybe I’m missing something here. Any ideas?

Have you set the movie end frame? under the animation tab… it’s set to 0 by default

Yes, I’ve tried that but only blank frames show up. When I use a .mov file it will calculate all of the frames, but for some reason it’s not recognizing any kind of image sequence…

unless your tiffs are non-standard somehow… from the Help
“Only Baseline TIFF is supported. Exotic formats such as CMYK images are not supported. It is, of course, not possible to give an exhaustive list of non-supported formats, since such a list in a sense could never be definitive”

I exported a .TIFF sequence from AE with RGB + Alpha settings. I’ll have to try it a few other ways.

that doesn’t sound like it should be a problem but it is worth a try
