Hi Kurt 🙂
First I would install the latest driver for your tablet. Updating your graphic card driver could also help here.
Open the pen tablet properties and alter the “Tip Feel” to soft & the “Double Click Distance” to small. Does the same thing happen?
Matthew, what are your issues when using Zaxwerks?

April 8, 2009 at 5:27 am in reply to: 16mm Film: Stablizing, Dirt & Scratch Removal SoftwareHi,
Your lines (In case they are not moving in the X axis) should be easily removed using the “Effect>Keying>CC Simple Wire Removal” plug-in.
I hope this may help.

John, if you followed the tutorial or Edward’s advice you shouldn’t have to reset anything. In other words you must first center your letters, THEN animate them with your control layers.
If you are still stuck, feel free to send me your aep: (serge at nyc-visual dot com)

Hi everyone,
In order for you to have each letter stick to its assigned 3D controller layer, you need first to place each letter (In the Set-Up window)at the center of the world origin. This one is located at the center of the floor grid. Each letter must also have its pivot point residing at its own center.
At last, you need to create an AE camera and tell Invigorator to use it.
I created a small tutorial for you that I hope will help you understand the method.

[Alex Kuzelicki] “Eventually, I figured out that if I make a new Comp (the same size as my head layer) put the head layer into it and use that as the Layer Map, I can nudge it around/change size, etc until it fits properly on the 3D object.”
That’s the beauty of layer mapping and what makes Invigorator so strong!
Keep your layer map at the correct aspect size/ratio as Edward and I explained in the previous posts to avoid loosing time tweaking stuff but also keep on playing around as it’s the best way to understand how things work.

Hi guys,
Just to make things clear, in order to get a perfect map (None stretched)The aspect ratio is important!
When you create a map at the same size then your object you are starting to do the right thing but let us imagine that your object was drawn in IL at 150 X 200 points, this means that if you create a map at this resolution (size) your map would look bad if you animate your object so it fills most of your comp.
To avoid this, respect the aspect ratio and then create your map at the size you need.
In other words if we follow the (150 X 200) example and you would be creating your map in AE using masks, plugs etc… You should create a layer map composition at (150 X 200), check the “Lock Aspect Ratio” Box in the composition settings window then alter the size of your composition to a higher resolution. AE will automatically keep the right aspect ratio for you when you alter the height or width(so will PS or IL…)
Now, whatever you will be creating inside of this layer map composition it will perfectly fit your object faces The edges are another story.
I explained mapping in details in the Invigorator/ProAnimator training DVD but will soon work on an online Creative Cow tutorial.
Salut.

Hi,
Did you try “Shatter” with the Puzzle pattern?

Hi again,
Import your ai file using the “Open AS Layers” feature. This should eliminate your problem when using PS to create paths.
Let me know if you still have problems.
Salut.

Hi Ted,
You can’t alter the edge of a primitive object. What you could do is create your puck using an IL file.(A simple circle would do)
Here is an example for you:
