Hi,
You are using the wrong filter. Fractal Noise & Colorama would do the trick.
Create a solid, apply “Fractal Noise” to it.
– Set the Noise type to “Block”
– Set the Fractal Type to “Small Bumps”
– In the Sub Settings menu, set the “Sub Influence % to (0)
– Increase the scale property in the transform menu to taste.– Now add the “Colorama” effect and make sure that you add a black portion to your color wheel to give you the effect of light switching on & off.
– Animate the “Phase Shift” located in the Input Phase menu. Done!
Here is the project:

Hi,
Learning about custom edges is very important if you want to master Invigorator/ProAnimator. You may want to check out the “Custom Edges” tutorial here at the Cow.
Another very useful feature is the Scale option. (Located in the Stats Menu)
If you create a sphere primitive, open the Stats menu and alter the (Z) Scale to (0.3 or so)you will get a perfect M&M shape with two clicks.

Hi,
I will try to reproduce the issue and check on the hack question ASAP as it sounds very interesting. (Thanks Edward for the tip!)
I think there is a misunderstanding here, I believe Edward was thinking of ProAnimator when he suggested you to save a scene. Invigorator pro doesn’t have this feature AFAIK.
I think the best for now would be that you use the AE-Camera.
I would gladly have a look at your AE project if you want. Don’t send any media files, just the AEP. (serge at nyc-visual dot com)

Hi,
It’s not a save option but an export one.
Also make sure your UV coordinates are also exported with your object.

Hi Matthew,
First, I would advise you to use the latest version of Zaxwerks (None major upgrades are for free)
I only had the issues you are describing with heavily modeled projects with a high Draft Offset quality setting (0.1 for instance).
Now just to test if this is also relevant to your issue, open a project that gave you a hard time, select all objects and set your draft offset settings to(10)You can leave the best offset settings at (0.1) or even (0.01) if necessary, this will slow your final render but not affect your UI manipulation. This should eliminate your issues, if not let us know.
