Hi Georgina,
You could use an animated transparency map for this and assign it to your objects using the Layer Mapping technique.
Salut.

Hi Zax,
My bad, I took care of Latisha offline. Her logo was grouped as you say but she also had gradients, images, no outlined text…
All the best 😉

Mark, please check the following tutorial:
https://library.creativecow.net/articles/hamad_serge/adv_invigorator_control/video-tutorial.php
It will show you (Midway of the clip) how to precisely parent your object to a solid.
If you still have issues, feel free to send me your project (serge at nyc-visual dot com)No maps are needed, only the project with your model.
Salut.

Hi Arvin,
You need to Select your object in the Invigorator Set-Up Window then click on the set menu to open it and select the set # you want your object to be assigned to.
Salut.

Hi guys,
Please check if transforming your comp to a Square pixel aspect ratio could help.
Salut.

May 12, 2010 at 3:41 am in reply to: A Zaxwerks project in this file is corrupt. Please use a backup insteadHi Charles,
Your composition/Output is not relevant when mapping an object. See it as a scene. what matters is the size/aspect ratio of your object. Once you figure this one out, then you just need to create a comp (In case of layer mapping) at the same aspect ratio.
Simple example: if you object is 150 X 200 pixels in IL, you should then create a composition/Layer Map at a 3:4 aspect ratio. The easiest way in this very example would be to create a comp at 150 X 200 pixels, check the “Lock Aspect Ratio to…” box then alter your width or height to reach a value that is good enough to get you a smooth map.
If you have any questions, just let us know.
Salut.
