I know that you can turn the set visibility off and on in the object control panel in Invigorator 5 (for After Effects) but can this be done in an AE comp somehow?

I have two models, one in set 1 and the other in set 2. For the first few seconds of my comp I want set 2 to be invisible, and then I want to turn it on, and then switch off set 1 etc. The only way I’ve been able to figure this out so far is just to make a keyframe to move the sets off the visible screen, but this seems a silly way to do it.

    Hope someone can help!

    Hi Georgina,

You could use an animated transparency map for this and assign it to your objects using the Layer Mapping technique.

Thank you for the reply Serge. I’ll try your suggestion later.
