Well, the reason for using the parrot is to keep IO issues at the minimum.
I am not at the machine with a proper setup but I can run it tomorrow at work again.
The idea is to not alter ANY settings, just flick through the Versions and note the FPS
You should have the same performance than a Cubix 4x 580 system, according to your card’s specs.
Maybe we should set the framerate higher…
I will dive into it tomorrow..A slice of color…

Just kidding..;)
What we did is to have an intermediate stage where you will overwrite the footage.
So you should make a copy of your footage folder now and rename that GRADED.
Then you ask the VFX guys to overwrite the footage in your other folder whenever they see it fit for judgement.
Depending on the need of having to go back to old versions you can make the data wrangling process with scripts that automatically move the last version into a folder with a new version.
So you are always looking at the most recent VFX with the ability to manually load the last one or any you need to compare.
Use a new video track for that, its easiest like that.Good luck 🙂

200 is what you pay when you bring in your car for service…
They will do the work…ONE time..
Guess what you would need to pay for them teaching you how to fix your car yourself 😉A slice of color…

By far the best, most complete, easy to understand and you get to work on the footage while you see it develop under your pen.

If you are talking about the latency on the video out, Smoke has it too.
The Decklink ist just too slow…
i dont see latency on the UI using the pen or the panels
The Decklink introduces half a second…12 frames or so.A slice of color…

That would enable the hackers to simply fake the dongle ID.
