Best tutorial
Posted by Sascha Engel on July 22, 2013 at 12:38 pmHi Guys,
Can you help me with tutorials?
What is the Best, most complete and if possible, not most expansive Training Tutorial for Davinci?
Is RippleTraining a good choice?Thanx.

By far the best, most complete, easy to understand and you get to work on the footage while you see it develop under your pen.

July 22, 2013 at 1:49 pmBut is it really worth all the extra money? Usually Ripple Training is great, and they charge 80.-Bucks for a 11 hour course. This one is 200.- – that’s more than double the price.

Well, to be fair, you did ask for the best tutorials available, not the cheapest ones available. Warren Eagles is solid. fxphd has a great track record as well for great content.
You could also check out https://www.taoofcolor.com for paid tutorials. He also does excellent work.

July 22, 2013 at 10:28 pmBest is relative. Warren, Patrick and I all have very different teaching styles, and tackle the application and the process of grading in different ways, and over different durations. I’ve got a hard time being self-serving enough to make any sort of recommendation, other then to say that I’ve spoken to some who feel our products are somewhat complementary, so I don’t think you can go wrong. Check out the samples and see who you like listening to and watching the most.

July 22, 2013 at 11:07 pmLet me be “that guy”, and remind everyone who thinks that $200 is too expensive for Resolve training that this is a product that used to cost six-figures to own and operate only a few years ago.
Paying $200 to get training from a guy like Warren–who has used Resolve professionally since it was first released nearly a decade ago––is hardly a drop in the bucket, if you intend to use this software professionally.

July 23, 2013 at 4:16 amHallo Guys,
Thanx for all the feedback. First of all, I did say the best around, but also not too expansive.
When I asked about comparison of the Rippletraining with others, it was not, cause I think 200.- ain’t worth it, but simple to see, wether the training for 80.- will be fine also. Yes, I do leave in a place where 200.- bucks is quiet some money 😉
Did actually somebody do the Tao of Colour training?
I really like those guys work and wonder if the training is as good as their film work?Greetings,
