If you want to connect an Apple 27″ display which has only a mDP you need an external box and it will probably not work in full res anyway.

There is no mini display port you could plug something in.

Keep in mind the build in noise treatment is far from perfect.
It’s good enough to compensate for some RED low light situation but can not handle 16mm grain or noise from P2 cameras.
If you wanna spent money , get Neat and any OFX host.A slice of color…

Honestly, the problem in not Resolve, its poor DIT work.
With the AVID not being able to work with most files directly, they tend to hack and slash transcode to some offline and start editing.
A proper AMA workflow is in place rather seldom.
The easiest workaround is use Resolve as a DIT station and convert to DNXHD for them.A slice of color…

To ma that sounds like you have a configuration error.
Or even more likely, two of them and together they work if you make a render mistake.
Can we ask you to render 5 sec of ProRes and a corresponding DPX frame, export the project setting and zip it all and upload it to YouSendit ?

If the Mac allows efi64 and Mountain Lion you should be golden.
My MacPro died and I have to use an old 1.1 right now with an ATI 5770 and Quadro4000 😉

It took two years for Neat to work in Scratch…
Nuke OFX stopped at a point when they went on with their own flavour which was not Open at all anymore.Personally I like Resolve the way it is and i hope they find a way to extend the toolset without sacrificing what we have right now.
I much rather fire up Smoke and do my FX there with all the presets, animations, interoperability that it offers.
Simple stuff like PIP is much appreciated though.A slice of color…
