I strongly suggest using PFClean for those tasks..
Resolve is by no means up for this.
Not only due to the lack of a robust cache system, but also because you will into trouble with the sprocket wear data.
PFClean with perform that kind of stabilise by analysing the film wear and saving each frames offset in a data file.

For a 10min doc it will work.
For a proper multilayer show, i find it way to slow to work with.
Especially when zooming into the timeline for bits and pieces editing.
I also can not get used to way i have to move the timeline left and right, i find it very non-intuitive to grab a small slider.
I would prefer a middle mouse left-right gesture to pan and up down to zoom where my cursor is, like any audio app is doing.
The keyframe editor for edit effects is quasi non existing, complex transitions with Sapphires are a chore.
I had to give up an edit job and bounce it back to the AVID department in house, but it was a quite complex show from the start.
But at this point, i would only use to to finalise or replace things, not to start the whole edit process.Resolve 11.3 – Smoke 2015 EXT1 – Sapphire 8

Sure, just get a good file renamer ( https://www.publicspace.net/ABetterFinderRename/ )
and get rid of those pesky numbers.
Teach tour grapghic people name structure and have em name pictures with Letters , hexa dezimal oder something else instead.
Or just ad a letter behind the name.If stills are imported as stills they are of infinitive length

Believe it or not, they are de-activating codecs.
Apple animation is not supported anymore
I had to break the news to 150 graphic artists working for us 😉
AVID DNxHD is craching it, i was C300 until today.

Another idea could be to add a technical layer for the Data burn in , something that will be processed AFTER everything else.

Another idea could be to make the autosave function saving increments only.
