The problem is that you will either piss of your old boss or the people who paid to get the job done.
They both think they have more right to it because they handed over money.
But I never heard of anyone getting into legal trouble by using their own work in the appropriate form of a personal showreel.
I have been asked to take out one or two shots, so be it, but no studio will actually take legal actions against workers, word gets out and the place looks like a place to avoid.A slice of color…

Yes, constantly..
But only on HD+ timelines with temporal Noise reduction.

Also you normally tweak the image toward keying in a separate path.
To pull a decent key from alexa you NEED to use the Alexa LUT as a minimum, they use Ultimatte, Keylight, Primatte or just Smokes Modular keyer (which is what I would do) and they generate your key.
Export that as a blackNwhite Prores file into resolve and do your grade..A slice of color…

Total freeze ?
Mouse still moving but no action possible than the power button ?
If so, welcome to the club.
Some info about the footage and action would be interesting.
I am getting those only on Timelines bigger than HD with TR noise applied…A slice of color…

What I really could use is a separate render queue..
I like to keep my projects light and sometimes work on several during the day.
I also tend to use the Sapphires and TP Noise reduction more frequently, so the ability to send the render to another machine or even the same machine and render over night would be a great thing to have.
A render queue like this needs to be able to start the app, execute the render, check rendered files, restart the app when it crashed and report back.A slice of color…

I know what you are doing here as I am also in the boat owning a Jupiter 8 and some tubes.
But you wont get the same results..
Printing to film and digitising again would do the trick, same as pressing vinyl and re-recording.
But its not really worth it, you can get very close with Sapphires, film stock overlays and custom algorythms today.
You dont need a Neve anymore, or a Fairlight 😉A slice of color…

If the Library of Congress would do such a dumb move of asking a total noob to do such a high profile job, i suggest nothing but the best :

Agreed on updating Candle test to latest features.
I wish BMD would incorporate something like it so we could probe our systems more easily.
