    dear bm!

i really like the new split screen/selected clips feature, but i think the white border marking the chosen clip is
too bold, it is kinda distracting when comparing two shots. AND: the reframing of the clips are ignored on comparing,
    this is also kinda strange…

and: the “new” temporal NR function is a very very good feature, a nice compromise between speed and quality.
BUT: the way i am using it would really be a time save if there was a button on deliver page like “force temporal NR
to highest quality”. because for real time purposes during grading i append most of the time “motion type FASTER” and
number of frames “1”. for final output i would love to set this to BETTER and 2.

when i am copying a node, it would be nice to copy the caption of the node as well!

thanks bm, i love your software 🙂

another thing, i am wondering if i am the only one:
during grading in split-screen-mode or sometimes by simply viewing
and hopping from clip to clip resolve just quits without an error-code.

    anyone else?

Yep. Been tying to track this down for a couple of years now. Mostly happens if I rewind/play in rapid succession from the Element controller. I think the commands crowd the application’s ability to decide what to display and it croaks. i’ve learned to Parry/Lunge a little slower — its kind of like penetrating the force-field around a Sardaukar storm trooper.

I’ve also found, using the element, with 3-4 or more nodes, the GUI thumbnails in the timeline take quite a bit longer to update.

I don’t think it’s a big deal, but it does seem to fall in line w GUI update faults

I personally like the software mandated relaxation periods……most sometimes

interesting! yes, hitting rewind/play very fast
sometimes can cause this on my machine as
well! and i have a cooper eclipse, so it’s not
    the element…
