I think the question was which one–I think both are relatively the same in terms of interface an basic stuff.

Can this be installed over earlier versions or should one delete earlier versions and then install?

I am getting very good results shooting 60i–then converting to 24fps in Vegas 6.0—–I believe that its almost as good as straight 24fps—

Yeah Lance, I don’t understand all the excitement by the Indie community. I figure its going to take a couple of years before those sticks become reasonably priced–by then who knows what new technology will be out there in the market place.

Good question–I would say not—By the way, the prices on those 16 minute memory cards are something like 2000 a shot—You buy two cards and its about the price of the camera! Also, you can’t save to DVPRO50 and other formats without the cards—-Everyone keeps saying that the prices of the cards will come down—they had better or this product won’t get wide market penetration.

If you think that 5.0 is stable, you should try 4.0–Ah the good old days when Sonic Foundry made the software and didn’t have the Goliath Sony breathing down their necks.

Jet–we agree—as I said in my earlier post, I would buy 6.0 today because of the upgrade price. By the way, you mention 6.0A–I downloaded mine on Monday-has 6.0A been released since then.
