  • Vegas 6.0 is very buggy–even the people at Sony admit it—I suggest you by the update but don’t use it until they release 6.0b.

You can learn so much from these videos—so that any transition to Vegas 6.0 will be real easy—There is not that much new to learn for basic editing–I highly recommend them.

I am very disappointed with the buginess in Vegas 6.0—I recommend that those who haven’t bought it wait a couple of weeks–They have a tone of work to do—really a mess and one of the first great blunders this fine product.

Seperate tracks for each title and use track motion to place each one where you want it–then key frame the movement and you are good to go.

Not bad–the cutting back and forth from Dave to the voice at the entry-way is disconcerting–you should just leave the camera on Dave. The movement through time with the white flash doesn’t work–try a slow transition—a dissolve is often used.

You can download the few very basic backgrounds that Sony has on their site. I don’t know of any “templetes” for DVD Archi—-maybe in the new version.
