Anyone try Vegas6 with a Decklink card?
I’m about to buy a new system using this combo and was wondering if there was any reasons why I shouldn’t.

I too once thought this to be the ultimate combination. READ THE FINE PRINT MY FRIEND!!
Head on over to the Sony Vegas forums (on Sony’s site–posting a link would probably be uncool) and see the mayhem that is Vegas v6.0, and the fact that Decklink isn’t really ready for prime time (with Vegas) yet
NOT consistently frame accurate
NO way to choose which channels to lay back to
NO assemble edit
NO 10bit capture (this one is understandable)
and ONLY ONE codec to capture to!Oh, and no Decklink realtime effects/transitions.

I am very disappointed with the buginess in Vegas 6.0—I recommend that those who haven’t bought it wait a couple of weeks–They have a tone of work to do—really a mess and one of the first great blunders this fine product.

Also, Wax will not work with 6 yet. An upgrade is in the works.
