The final version will be 3500*768 and projected from Dataton Watch Out by four projecters.

I have been working at this project for a couple months now and nearly everything is finished but I have a few clips that I have been unable to avoid this enlargment issue.

I have this sequence on a custom timeline 1750*384 using uncompressed as well as a basic HDV 50i timeline.

The 1750*384 timeline lets me see the shape of the screen but is limited when it come to exports.

The HDV line is where the clips were edited.

I have tried bringing these clips into Watch Out and enlarging there but to no avail.

I tend to use a vibrate tag directly on the camera…It works in a some situations but not all.

What kind of footage do you have? is it a clip of a river and a another of the building or is it the building in the shot with the river and just no reflection? How much movment does the river have?

I believe there is a render resolution option in your user prefrences under the render Tab.
There is a % based option there…never used it but I remember seeing there.

  • Yea if your in a hurry you can just copy the clip onto another layer.
If you have soundtrack you can bring the clip into the editer and use that…duplicating the clip works there too and you have noise reduction options.

I am not too sure but you could check in the system settings “Minimum allowable freespace on Scratch disk”
it could be set to high.

I get what your saying now.
I was under the impression that I would be cropping the pictures in Watch Out.
Makes a lot more sence now.
    Thanks

I know i dont have to use the full resolution but it would be so much simpler.

Yea i am ok with scaling…but wont the DV have a flicker/strobe effect because it is interlaced and a different frame rate?
