Things have already changed as pointed out, FxPlug plugins use the graphics card to render.
So for those, the beefier the card, the faster the render.Peter

Make the background transparent -so you see the chequerboard then
export using the Animation codec or drag the icon off the top bar into FCPpeter

Yes, the little button on the bottom of the right of the file browser with the series of rectangles on it displays image sequences as one file.
Drop the image sequence onto your timeline & exportPeter

Why buy Shake? Motion comes in FCS.

Very cool, its alway nice to see something you’ve worked hard on being used by other people.
The Volumetrix banner was made in Motion, then imported into Flash and then Dreamweaver,
much like yourself no doubt!Peter

Have you tried enabling fixed resolution on the layer that contains the item that gets squashed?
Motion handles the rendering slightly different to FCP & Compressor so the above may help.
