    Hi folks,

this might be a question for the trapcode forum, but I’m having trouble getting my computer to ‘recognice’ my trapcode shine plugin. I’ve re-installed it for good measure and it works just fine in my version of After effects. It also appears in my final cut filters list, but when I launch it, it says ‘unable to locate from directory’. I re-link it and it either still gives me this error message or crashes. I’ve trashed my preferences. Does any else have a thought?

Shine doesn’t work with this version of FCP. Mine is broken as well.
There is another plug called Volumetrix (I believe), that is very similar to Shine. Peter Wiggins wrote it and it workes nicely within FCP. Google it and give it a try.
