No I haven’t tried it, I’m busy working on plugin number 2 amongst all the other work I do.
It comes from a reputable company though & I know they’ve spent quite a bit developing it.Peter

4 years ago I was complaining about the slomo in FCP (I’m a PAL user too although that doesn’t really matter here)
Graeme Natress emailed me and we came up with a solution for smooth 50% slomos
He wrote a filter called frames & fields that takes a field and makes a frame out of it.
Looks pretty good too, very VTR like, no need for any blur.https://www.nattress.com/Products/set2/set2.htm
Another way I’ve been doing it is to use frame blending and then apply the deinterlace filter.

Dont confuse the two things
1) The old NTSC arguement of PAL flickering – so why are people shooting on 24P as if its the canines’ nuts??
2) a real problem with a luminence flicker as shot, HMI inflicted or not. Try the Sapphire flicker reduction plugin, its saved me a few times

Or just drag the icon off the top bar, shift tab into FCP & drop

I managed to get a Viz to kick out the right files for FCP, but it took a bit of trial & error.
see if they can output a quicktime in your native codec. Anything that requires an alpha has to be rendered with the animation codec.
