    Get the Pro version of DVDxDV it enables you to render to all your codecs not just dv.

  • Go to the browser where that clip resides, open the triangle next to that clip. Select the markers and drag them to the export queue window. Iguess it’s time to read the freak’in manual again. I’ve never even seen this window before. Rory who’s everything in London. Are you coming to Canada anytime soon?

    I’ve been using DVDxDVPro with great sucess. The pro version enables you to convert to all your favourite codecs.

    With regards to capturing a dv tape and going to dvd, the latest version of iDVD can do this.

  • Check that under View>External Video>all frames is checked instead of single frames.

    Couldn’t agree more. Let the sound experts do their job create a mix from untouched audio files. Otherwise just stay in FCP and do your mix.

    I purchased an app called Mezzo. It is FCP friendly. You just drag your FCP project file to Mezzo and it gathers all the asociated files with your project and archives them to an external tape back up. (I use super DLT drive). Mezzo does not archive to video tape. DLT’s drives are not cheep but Mezzo works really well. When you are ready to resore a project you simply drop the original FCP project file back to your desktop or where ever and Mezzo restores all your files in cluding renders. It has been working great for me. Mezzo is much more as well.
