Hi, you should contact your CommandSoft FibreJet supplier and discuss the settings for the shared memory configuration which will be compatible with the PostgreSQL server and CommandSoft FibreJet.

These settings are stored in the /etc/sysctl.conf file on your Mac.

I think you might find they are in the package for our Linux system and look fine there. You don’t need them on OS X.

To answer Andrews original question, not at the moment. All projects in a database are at the same level.
In Resolve you can manage your work by user account, database, project and session and each facility has their own work practice. Some like everything in one database and have a very long list of projects, some like to start a new DB for each major film or TV series. We even have customers who start a new user every 12 months so archive and recall can be automated.

For now my guess is you can start a DB called FXPHD and have all that work there and use another DB for your paid work.

Hi, you haven’t mentioned which version you have? Is the issue one one window type or all?
Do you ever see the flashing if there are no windows?
This is sometimes caused by the system if it can’t find the dongle so be sure that its plugged directly into the Mac chassis. If the problem persists, please capture your logs and system config and email to davincihelp@blackmagic-design.com so the guys can have a look.

HI, when you scene cut detect you can review and delete the false cuts and even select a range to delete. Then the cut list will be clean prior to sending to the conform page.

The Linux, Mac and windows all use the same DB file structure so interchange works without problems.

HI, I think the first step is to make sure each morning that the Euphonix panel is talking to the EuCon application. This is the app supplied with the panel by Avid. Once that comms is working, Resolve should connect to the panel via this EuCon with ease. If the panel is connected to EuCon and will not to Resolve please let the support guys know. davincihelp@blackmagic-design.com

Hi Erik, can you confirm this is on 8.0.1?
Are you exporting from Mac and importing on Linux, or visa-versa?
Or Mac to Mac?

Hi, you should not see any difference at all. The way we process everything in GPU and our internal checks between CUDA and OpenCL show no variation between cards or GPU type.
