Likely you mean it cant see the GPU and so doesnt run at all?
if so, thats probably GPU driver.
if you mean deckLink, you need the new Desktop video driver

Use the Duration Marker rather than two separate markers.

If you truly want to evaluate if Resolve suits your needs you will need a current model computer with a good GPU, W10 or MacOS and DaVinci Resolve 16.x

Your database should remain on a permanently connected disk. Like the system disk.
I suggest removing all temporary drives so there is just the internal drives.
Run 15.2.1 when it starts in the project manager create a new database on the system drive, call it v15-2dec18
Now only use that database.
Start a new project and add a clip to the timeline, save the project as test1. Close Resolve. Restart the computer and start Resolve to check that that project opens and plays.
If so, then connect your external drive and make a new project with those clips. -

Hi, the crash report is only initialized if there is a crash, so it didnt stop the media management, the crash did.
Did you get to finish the media management after the reboot?

As mentioned, w10 is minimum OS requirement. We don’t forceable stop w7 use but wont look at any reported w7 issues unless they also show on w10.
