Wondering if anyone knows it will be possible to grade on a windows Resolve and then transfer the project to a Mac Resolve and render out there?

The Linux, Mac and windows all use the same DB file structure so interchange works without problems.

media could be the problem. i.e. prorez on windows etc. one just has to test workflow out.

simplest would be to use uncompressed media if machines can handle it.

We will be moving from FCP workflows to Avid so I presume that AVID DNxHD will work fine cross platform (not going to be attempting to integrate imovie Pro)

Yes, DNxHD support is the same across all 3 platforms – Mac/Windows/Linux.

Will there be a solution for Prores on a mac? Perhaps a license like the DNxHD one?
