    Hi:

DaVinci newb here, encountering two odd behaviors after install of cards and software.
Sometimes upon booting up DaVinci, a warning window appears saying it can’t find the
CUDA drivers, which are installed and working on the previous session. I have to reinstall
the drivers and reboot the computer. Also, when I’ve used a power window on a grade,
the Viewer starts flashing during playback, effecting the other graded clips as well. If
I restart DaVinci, it’s fine until the next time I lay in a power window. Any clues or direction
to find a solution would be appreciated.

The system is a 8 core, 4,1 mac pro with 12 gigs ram, 5770 GUI board, 4000 GPU
board and Decklink extreme 3D with Tangent Wave.

    Again, thanks for any input.

Hi, you haven’t mentioned which version you have? Is the issue one one window type or all?
Do you ever see the flashing if there are no windows?
This is sometimes caused by the system if it can’t find the dongle so be sure that its plugged directly into the Mac chassis. If the problem persists, please capture your logs and system config and email to davincihelp@blackmagic-design.com so the guys can have a look.
    thanks

I’m running V.8. It seems to happen with all types of power windows,
though I like to use the circular window the most. Thanks for your input.
