That’s just the end of the sequence indicator. Put something after it and it should be just fine.

You could make a single preset of ALL the effects on a clip and save it off with a unique name. Do that for each clip and then just apply those to the clips in the new timeline. Would certainly be quicker than copying and pasting effects with switching between timelines.

PPro handles that workflow just great. Here’s what I do: Down arrow to move playhead to clip, D to select clip, / to set in and out around clip, Command + M to export panel, apply preset and add to queue in Media Encoder. Repeat. Except for the preset and destination which remain set from the previous so you only have to do that once.

Use Prelude or Media Browser. Pick your clip and go no matter how many cards it spans.

If it meets the minimum requirements regardless of certification you can use it.

Save multiple fx as a single preset. (Opening and applying multiple presets for a single clip get really old, really fast.)
One of my favorite things about PPro. Command click on each effect you want in the Effects Control window and right click to save all of them as one preset.

Thanks Peter. The driver update is what was missing. Though I didn’t get any kind of “uncertified” prompt. The CUDA option appeared in the drop down, I selected it and moved on.

I don’t get a CUDA option on the drop down on a new iMac with 775. I do get one on my MBPr with the GT650.
